Iran Reveals Secret Underground Missile Base Amid Rising Tensions

Tehran: Iran has unveiled a massive underground missile facility as tensions with the United States and Israel continue to rise. The announcement on March 25, 2025, was made by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), showcasing a hidden missile city designed to strengthen Iran’s military power.

According to Iranian officials, this underground base houses thousands of advanced missiles, including the Kheibar Shekan, Sejil, Emad, and Qadr. These missiles are known for their long range and high accuracy. The facility is built deep within the mountains to protect it from potential enemy attacks. Iran claims that this strategic move will enhance its ability to defend itself in case of war.

In addition to the underground base, the IRGC revealed that several missile systems have been deployed on strategic islands near U.S. military bases and vital shipping lanes. Iranian military leaders stated that their missiles are capable of striking enemy bases and naval vessels within minutes, making them a serious threat to opposing forces.

This development comes at a time of heightened conflict in the region. The United States and Israel have been increasing their military operations, particularly against Iran’s allies in the Middle East. Iran, in response, has strengthened its defence systems and continues to expand its missile program.

International reactions to Iran’s missile city have been mixed. Some countries see it as a dangerous escalation, while others argue that Iran is simply ensuring its national security. Meanwhile, military experts warn that such moves could increase the risk of direct conflict between Iran and its rivals.
